About The Club

In 1985 a small band of British Breeders started the Maine Coon Cat Club with the aim of gaining recognition for the Maine Coon with the Governing Council of the Cat Fancy.

The club is now very well established with many members - breeders, owners, judges and people who don't have a Maine Coon but just love the breed. We welcome new members, whether you are an owner, breeder, judge or would like to know more about the breed.

We hold an annual show for Maine Coons, non-pedigrees and pedigree pets of all breeds. We also publish regular newsletters, hold events, have an annual points trophy competition and even produce our own glossy annual Maine Coon calendar. 
Kittens for sale list is updated weekly and we have a list of club breeder members from all over the UK. We advertise to help breeders to find homes for kittens and have a welfare service for cats needing to be rehomed.
