Meanwhile, to the many people who came to the show - either as exhibitors with cats, officials, judges, vendors or visitors, we would like to thank you for your support. We could not hold a show without you. We hope that you enjoyed your day with the Maine Coons and Household Pets. 

If you missed our 2026 show, then we will be holding our next championship show on Saturday 2nd October 2027.  Plans are already underway for our next show so put the date in your diary and we hope that you will join us.

About The Club

In 1985 a small band of British Breeders started the Maine Coon Cat Club with the aim of gaining recognition for the Maine Coon with the Governing Council of the Cat Fancy.

The club is now very well established with many members - breeders, owners, judges and people who don't have a Maine Coon but just love the breed. We welcome new members, whether you are an owner, breeder, judge or would like to know more about the breed.

We hold an annual show for Maine Coons, non-pedigrees and pedigree pets of all breeds. We also publish regular newsletters, hold events, have an annual points trophy competition and even produce our own glossy annual Maine Coon calendar. 
Kittens for sale list is updated weekly and we have a list of club breeder members from all over the UK. We advertise to help breeders to find homes for kittens and have a welfare service for cats needing to be rehomed.
