Annual Maine Coon Cat Club Points Trophy Competition

Each year our club holds a competition for cats being show by members of the club, the winning cats receive a rosette and the best cats in each section also receive a commemorative trophy. The competition runs from 1st January until 31st December each year, you must be a current club member and membership has been held for at least part of the active show year.
Entries for the previous show year are submitted to the club in January, after the show year has ended. Results are announced at the Annual General Meeting in March.
2025 Points Trophy Competition - Now Closed - but 2026 competition is planned!
The 2025 Annual Points Trophy Competition has now closed and a PowerPoint presentation will take place at the AGM in March, with photos of all the winning cats for everyone to see. We are already looking forward to the 2026 competition. The competition covers all GCCF shows entered between 1st January and 31st December 2026. There will be classes for all four colour groups, male and female, adults neuters and kittens, as well as non-pedigree and pedigree pet cats. Winners of each class will win a rosette and overall winners will also receive a trophy, which they can keep forever. Cats and kittens will gain points for their certificate classes at 2026 GCCF shows. The cats with the most points in each colour group for male & female adults, kittens and neuters, will win the points trophy class. Some classes had no entries in 2025, so even if your cat only enters one show in 2026, its worth entering this competition. Remember, you have to be in it to win it! Winners will be notified and a celebration of all winners presentation PowerPoint will take place at our online AGM. 2026 Competition is Live Now

Keep a record of your show results, ready to submit in January 2027. There are points for all placings in the breed class (including Best of Breed), Grand , Imperial and Olympian Classes. Double points are awarded for cats entered at the Maine Coon Cat Club Show on 3rd October 2026. Remember, we have classes for Maine Coons and Household Pets.
