The Maine Coon Cat Club Show

Our annual show takes place in early October each year. Maine Coon exhibitors travel from all over the UK to compete and almost everyone enters the show with the dream of possibly winning Overall Best in Show Exhibit. The show is held just off the M42 near Tamworth, in the Midlands, it is easily accessible as major routes from north, south, east and west converge in that area. It is the largest gathering of Maine Coons under one roof, anywhere in the UK.
The first Maine Coon Cat Club Show took place in 1994, and since then, apart from 2020 and 2021 when no shows took place because of the Covid pandemic, we have held a show every year. You can see a full list of all the previous winners in our history section document. We held our 2026 Show on 3rd October and are already busy organising our 2027 show - 2nd October 2027. More information can be found further down on this page and watch out for further announcements closer to the time. We have also produced a video showing photos of every Overall Best in Show Winner from our first show in 1994, right through to 2025.

Thanks to everyone who attended our 2026 show - a bumper entry of Maine Coons and Household pets competed. Plans are already underway for our 2027 show. Save the date - 2nd October 2027 - its not to be missed!
About Our Next Show - 2nd October 2027
We had a fantastic entry for our 2026 show, over 90 cats entered - Maine Coons, Non-Pedigrees and Pedigree Pets and hope that our 2027 show will be well supported. Plans for 2027 are already underway and more information will be available in early July 2027.
If you are looking for a Maine Coon to join your family, this is the ideal place to come to see the wide variety of Maine Coon colours, chat to owners and breeders and find out more about the breed. We always have cats and kittens of many different colours and patterns there, it is a chance for any cat lover to see these fabulous cats in the flesh, find out more about the breed or just come along to get "up close and personal" with them. Our 26th Championship Show will take place on Saturday 2nd October 2027 at Wilnecote High School Leisure Centre, Tinkers Green Road, Wilnecote, Tamworth, Staffordshire, B77 5LF. It is the largest gathering of Maine Coons under one roof in the UK, a "must see" for anyone interested in the breed or just wanting to see what showing cats is all about. We will have a wide range of stalls catering for both humans and felines, as well as the highlight of the event, Best in Show. Which fabulous felines will be chosen next time as Overall Best in Show and Best Household Pet? - you won't want to miss this great show! The venue is just a few minutes, less than 3 miles, away from Junction 10 of the M42, close to the central motorway network. Come and join us to celebrate our lovely cats or learn more about the Maine Coon breed.
